Free e-book
This idea can bring you nonstop traffic. You can create free e-books that contain valuable information and allow them to be freely distributed by submitting it to e-book sites; then millions can download your e-book and read it.
You can offer the
first chapter of an e-book that you are selling as a free e-book for
downloading. This can gain readers’ interest and make them want to
buy your product.
A good way to publish your free e-book is by including it (link to download your free e-book) in your sales letter. With the sales letter you can engage people’s interest in your free e-book and then download it. Make sure that no one can can't copy from your e-book.
PAD file
Many Directories allow you to send a PAD (which stands for Portable Application Description) for your product. This pad provides product descriptions in a standard way that will allow Webmasters to automate program listings. There are free tools that can help you create your pad files.
You can put your pad file inside a zip, so anyone that downloads your product can easily extract the pad file. Also you can send your pad file to the download sites that request information about your product.

Create customized
e-books
You can use this method to increase the distribution of your free e-books. For anyone who requests a customized version of your free e-book; just include their logo with a link to their Web site on the main page of your e-book. You can contact ezine publishers and offer them a customized version of your e-book.
If you are making an exe e-book, make sure with include an external link in your e-book to add "TARGET="blank"" to every link in the HTML code and be sure to create the link that includes the full path to the Web site. So when the reader clicks on the link, it will open the Web site on the reader's browser not in your e-book.
For example:
<A>HREF=http://www.yoursite.comTARGET="blank">your
site</A>
